About Us
We are a Ghanaian tuition service built around one simple idea: every learner does better with the right teacher and the right kind of attention.
Learning That Fits Your Family
Standard Home Tuition connects families in Accra and beyond with vetted tutors who teach at home or online, following the school syllabus and adapting to each student.
We started in Dansoman with a small group of tutors and a clear goal: make quality, personal tuition accessible to families who want more than crowded after-school classes. Today we support Primary, JHS and SHS learners across a wide range of subjects, as well as adult and tertiary students.
Every tutor is interviewed, reference-checked and matched to the learner's level, personality and schedule. Lessons are built around the student's own school work, with regular progress notes so parents always know what is improving and what needs more practice.
Our Approach
No two learners need the same lesson. Before we recommend a tutor, we listen to the parent, review recent school work and identify the gaps that matter most.
- Free assessment — a short session to understand the learner's level and goals.
- Matched tutor — chosen for subject strength, level and teaching style.
- Structured lessons — linked to school topics, homework and upcoming exams.
- Progress updates — short notes after each session and a termly review with parents.
